This walked through the circle of our chairs to the tree and started climbing. He didn't seem at all bothered by our presence.

This little lizard was sunning itself on the road in the Flinders Ranges. He just wouldn't get off the road, so Jarrad had to pick him up and move him off the road so we could drive past without squishing him.

Travelling Australia in a campervan since 2009 with our four children aged 4, 7, 10, and 11. We are a family living on the road. Stopping to work in rural and remote towns as we need more money, we love this lifestyle. The four kids are homeschooled as we work our way slowly around Australia.

  3. OK, so when we head to Australia, I will be calling you to make sure we don’t touch anything poisonous. I’m just going to basically assume everything can kill me and go from there :-)

  4. Fantastic pictures! Lizards generally don’t bother me, but what exactly is that last picture of? I wouldn’t want to run in to that guy in any circumstances.
